Our first Harp Adventures concert was a huge success!! It was today in Griswold Hall at Peabody and all the students played so well!! The concert included 8 harp students from 4 different schools around the Baltimore area assisted by 2 Peabody harpists. It began with a very festive performance from the harp ensemble playing Feliz Navidad that the audience really enjoyed. Following that piece, each student had their individual time to shine in the spotlight when they played their solo pieces wonderfully. We finished the concert with the harp ensemble playing Silent Night which got lots of applause! After lots of pictures and hugs, we all enjoyed a yummy reception to celebrate a great recital. It was so nice to meet friends and family who came to support these young harpists.

All of the students should be very proud of their first big concert!! They all received new Harp Adventures buttons that we hope they they will proudly display. And all the teachers want to thank so many people for m
aking this recital possible -- especially the Peabody Harp Department, Sister Lisa Perkowski at Mother Seton Academy, and all the committed parents and family members who brought the students to lessons and rehearsals each week.

If anyone would like to share pictures from today, please forward them to your harpist's teacher so w3e can put as many as possible on our website. We are already getting excited about our next concert at the Basilica on December 15th! We'll start planning soon for our next concert in the new year, so check back and stay tuned!!

Thank you again for a wonderful first Harp Adventures concert!!! We all look forward to many more great concerts in the future!!
